HCV-HCSA Assessor Training Course in Mexico

Jimena Frojan, ALS Senior Quality Manager, attended the training course in Mexico which was co-organised by Proforest, Pepsico and Femexpalma as part of their efforts to build local capacity for HCV and HCV-HCSA Assessments

Jimena Frojan, ALS Senior Quality Manager, attended the training course in Mexico which was co-organised by Proforest, Pepsico and Femexpalma.

From November 4th to 8th, Proforest imparted an HCV-HCSA Assessor Training Course in Palenque, Mexico. The course was jointly organized by HCVN Member Proforest, Femexpalma (the Mexican Palm Oil Association) and Pepsico, as part of their efforts to build local capacity for HCV and HCV-HCSA Assessments, which are now a requirement to get certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

Jimena Frojan, ALS Senior Quality Officer attended the course along with other 15 participants from Latin America. The process of conducting and submitting an HCV-HCSA Assessment for evaluation were explained to participants via diverse activities, presentations and field practice.
